I can only tell you what I'm doing. I live in an apartment and obviously can
neither pour liquid clay down the dran nor alter the plumbing. I have a
3-gallon bucket for each kind of clay I use, for scraps. I use each bucket of
throwing water for a couple of days. Then I pour it on the scraps. It helps break
them down, and since the bucket is open, a lot of the water evaporates. If it
doesn't, I'll just bite the bullet, carry it downstairs and pour some of it
outside. It's just clay. It won't hurt the grass.
