Anyone recently (last 2-3 years) bought or built a gas kiln in Ontario? =
The Deep River Potter's Guild is looking into the possibility of =
getting a gas kiln - either buying one or building. We do have a capped =
natural gas line to the studio. However we have heard that there may be =
problems with getting the kiln to pass the safety inspection. The =
inspector has to come from Toronto - about 5 hours driving time away and =
he charges $200/per hour - so if problems arise it could end up rather =
expensive.
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
