A.I.R. Vallauris is a non-profit artist in residency program in the =
south of France, situated between Cannes and Nice. Vallauris has a rich =
ceramic history which attracted Picasso to the area in the 1950's.
The intent of our program is to provide an environment to visiting =
artists that offers the opportunity to research and create new work and =
to meet and collaboration with local artists.
The residence is located in the Place Lisnard in the old town of =
Vallauris in a completely restored "Maison de Village". It consists of a =
gallery, common lounge and kitchen, 2 appartments with private =
bathrooms, an office with internet access, and reading room.

The studio is also located in the old town of Vallauris, 100m from the =
residence.=20
The residency period is for 2 months, and each artist has an individual =
appartment, and access to the studio. An exhibition is organized for the =
artist at the end of period when appropriate.=20
