Clayarter Ron Ball had mentioned his teacher Ken Chernavitch to me in a
recent post. This sent me on a search through several spellings. Finally,
leaving out the surname, I put in these terms only:
"ken pottery manitoba" and struck paydirt.

The gallery recently featured the work of Norwegian clay artist Marit
Tingleff. Marit (in Gallery 2) works on a large scale. Her sculptural
