I do know someone who developed a very serious allergy in the studio. Her
hands would swell so badly they would crack and bleed. She was afraid she had
developed an allergy to clay, and she was desperate.
I don't recall how she sorted it out but it turned out she was allergic to
the TOWELS in the studio -- specificaly she had developed an allergy to the
detergent used.
She started bringing her own towels and all her problems disappeared.
