My wife gets swolen eye lids and a red rash around her eyes when we rent a room at some hotels and motels when she used their towels - due to the detergent used. She now brings her own towels. Sometime the beding/sheets too but not always. Does not seem to effect me. Sam

I don't recall how she sorted it out but it turned out she was allergic to
the TOWELS in the studio -- specificaly she had developed an allergy to the
detergent used.

A doctor told a friend to switch to a NON-fragrance and dye-free
detergent -- and her husband's rash cleared up. Odd, but it worked.
Just a certain chemical sensitivity.
