kyanite and mullite in a stoneware body

I have heard it said many times on this list, especially by RR that it is
better to use kyanite in place of silica in a body to help with glaze fit.
Up until recently the price kept me from considering it but i recently found
a supplier with reasonable prices on kyanite, so now i want to do it to help
reduce the amount of crystobalite in my cone 10 stoneware body, especially
for baking ware and such. The thing is that the grog my supplier carries now
is mullite, which is calcined kyanite. Is there any disadvantage to using
both of them in the same body, like about 10 % of each?
