Linda: NO! NO! NO! You say you pot in a closet. You say you use a =
frying pan to heat your hot wax. PLEASE STOP. I am sure the several =
people who have been badly burned, or whose studios were burned down by =
hot wax/melting wax disasters ALSO were careful, ALSO did not leave the =
pan on, and like that. =20

PLEASE go get some liquid cold wax, which works excellenty and washes =
out of brushes, and is fluid and remains fluid better than hot wax. And =
PLEASE get some latex which can be made very fluid, and does ruin =
brushes but can be peeled off the pot when dry.

Someone asked about mocha fading too much. It does. It really needs =
several tests to establish what amount is right. And copper of course =
is a weak colorant to begin with.

AS TO WOMEN IN CLAY. Did I see Norah Braden and Katharine =
Pleydell-Bouverie? And what about Karen Karnes? Has she made the list =
yet? Sheila Fournier should be on. =20

And certainly Eileen Lewenstein who is phenomenal, and Mary Wondrausch =
who is wonderful.
