Hi all.
I've been a busy bee with my new website geared towards sharing cone 6=20=
oxidation glaze images, recipes and tips.
I'm now hoping to add a gallery page of work done by clayart members=20
firing in cone 6 oxidation. In order to simplify the process, I've=20
added a page that allows a visitor to easily upload their photos to my=20=
photo center.
This is a very easy and doable process and I invite you to try it.
http://home.earthlink.net/~jessieadair/tests/
I welcome *all* photos of pottery fired in cone 6 oxidation, be they=20
functional or sculptural. I would especially welcome photos of=20
functional pottery that is glazed with stable glazes (as defined in the=20=
book Mastering Cone 6 Glazes by John Hesselberth and Ron Roy). Most=20
welcome would be pottery glazed with the great recipes that appear in=20
the book. This is because of my support for the cause of glaze=20
stability and safety espoused by Hesselberth and Roy in their excellent=20=
book.
To upload your photos click Add Your Photos on the navigation bar of my=20=
website and follow the instructions.
Once the photos are uploaded and processed by me (giving credit to the=20=
artist) you will be able to access all photos in the pottery album and=20=
can also easily send the photos in an email directly from the photo=20
page.
It's a very easy and straightforward process. Why not give it a whirl?!
Contact me offlist if you have any questions or comments about the=20
uploading process.
Regards,
Linda Pahl, Kew Gardens, New York

That is good Linda that you are going to show cone 6 tests.
My website was dedicated to illustrating the tests I made and post on
Clayart. I think it
will be good to have your input because a lot of people fire at this range.
Hope it goes smoothly. I used a lot of time making the site, but now I
finally traded pots for
spots. Meaning photo spots. I hope you get positive feedback.

Linda, I went to your site - very nice! I would be interested in seeing a
picture of your "throwing closet" if you have one. It is truly a love of clay
that would inspire someone into turning a closet in to a studio! I too fire to
Cone 6. I really like the tests that you have done so far. Keep up the good
work!
