I can't help but think that sometimes the romanticsm of not knowing, =
thus guessing=20
and speculating, is far better than for our intelligence to be =
satisfied, Wouldn't we=20
be bummed to know all of the secrets? What would keep us up at night? =
What would=20
cause us to wonder and dream and CREATE!
My computer screen saver is an image of stonehenge. I love to =
escape into these visions=20
of the past now and again. Wondering, why and who. These little =
goddess figures are beautiful in=20
that they represent our fore goers and us too. And I see the beauty in =
that connection. Clay,=20
the working of it, is primal I think. Earth, water and fire. Even =
today, we are more connected=20
to these people than we realize sometimes. With all our advancements, =
when push comes to shove,=20
our survival mode takes over. When my hands are in clay (and my kids =
aren't yammering in my ear)
I am doing nothing different than these ancient ones did - expressing =
myself in a most personal way.

Besides, I would sure hate to think that these figurines are nothing =
more than a discarded gift
given by an in-law!

Peace,

Amy
