Our own Bert Gibson generously added a number of his cone 6 oxidation =20=

pottery to my website's pottery gallery. (Thank you very much, Bert, =20=

for sharing these with us).

His combination of the Mastering Cone 6 Glazes' Waterfall Brown over =20
Licorice is smashing!

I've designated the combination the Combination of the Week. Click =20
here for a link to see it: =20

While your there take a look at Bert's other MC6G combinations (click =20=

"View The Gallery" on the navigation bar to the left of the photo).

Also, feel free to browse the rest of my website for various =20

Linda,
This link reverts to www.bravenet.com . Is there possibly a better way to
access it?
Thanks,
E

I just found out offlist that the link for the photo of Bert's double
glazed bowl does not appear to be working. So, if you'd still like to
see the photo use this link instead:

http://home.earthlink.net/~jessieadair/tests/id45.html

Once there, follow the link to the gallery page.

I have found that a number of my glazes work spectaculary over Licorice; I
have at least 3 that look similar to the one on your web site and 4-5 others
that are very different but beautiful. If you haven't tested your other
glazes over licorice, your missing a good thing.

I agree with Tom: MC6G--that is apparently the new abbreviation for
Mastering Cone 6 Glazes: Licorice does a beautiful job with many other
glazes over it. Try Chris Wolff's Cream Gloss for a spectacular splash and
a glaze called Oatmeal (from Clayart emails), which I will send off-list
upon request.

Tom, Please share your pictures with us. I'm sure all of us Cone 6ers would
love to see them.
