Open letter to John Hesselberth re: Glazemaster software
Dear John,
It has been brought to my attention by a member of Clayart that I left out
your Glazemaster(Tm) software and website:
in my recent PMI
Online article for Pottery Making Illustrated.
I do know about your web site (and your work with Ron Roy on Cone 6
glazes), and there's actually a link on my own site to "Mastering Cone 6
Glazes", the book you co-authored with Ron Roy.
Your site should have been included. It is well laid out, and has some
very nice pictures of cone 6 glazes...
The reason for the omission seems to be that in my bookmarks under "Clay"
"Technical" "Glazes" "Software", the bookmark for "Glazemaster" itself is
not included. I have links to you elsewhere in my bookmarks, but not that
one specifically.
I think the faq page provides a useful service, and the tour, with its
reasonably compressed but still visible screenshots is very useful for
showing potential users what to expect is also good.
I seem to remember sometime in the past having downloaded a 60 day trial
version of your software, and running it successfully. However, as I don't
have the facilities to make my own glazes, I seem not to have kept it.
Again, my apologies for not mentioning (at least online) your very worthy
program and web site.

Hi Helen,
Thanks for your concern. Don't worry a bit about it. GlazeMaster sales
are very strong so I am getting plenty of referrals from other sources.
