I mixed up a small batch of Licorice and got a pretty brown glaze. I
tested on porcelain. I didn't see a note that this glaze or the base on
which it is built was not for use on porcelain. Has anybody had good
results with Licorice on porcelain? We are now going to test on 112 and a
red brown clay.

I have had excellent results with it on porcelain, although it is too dense
for my taste. I prefer a more translucent glaze. This is fairly opaque,
but very black and glossy.

Hi Butch,
It sounds like you either have a bad batch of cobalt or carbonate or
forgot to put it in. Whatever you have, if it was brown on porcelain it
will almost certainly be brown on Standard 112.
