missing email because of spam filters

I would like to remind people if they are using spam filters, to check often
them after ordering things online. We have many customers who do not get
order confirmations or follow up emails because our messages go directly
into their trash. Sometimes people ask questions (about how to do things,
or about their orders), we take the time to answer, then the next thing we
hear is a nasty email "This is my third email and nobody has replied!". It
is very frustrating!

Of course sometimes people just miss replies due to the large amount of
spam, but often the spam filter is the cause. Unfortunately some people
have spam filters and don't even know it! These are set up by default by
their ISP. We have heard this more than a few times when we call a customer
and explain the problem: "Hey, there is a lot of good stuff in my deleted
folder! I didn't know that was happening!"

Cindi,

Could be your messages are more prone to being considered SPAM
because your e-mail address contains the word "Store". Maybe
you could set up a different e-mail account that you use to reply
to people that would be more SPAM-filter friendly.

People setting up new Internet addresses might want to carefully
consider how they will be viewed by SPAM filters. After all, the
spammers do.
