Just got back last night from a family trip to the big Disney in Orlando.
Did a very quick stop into Axner on Thursday and discovered they had a York
kick wheel in the show room that someone had ordered and then decided not to
take.
I took.
Hubby and I left the kids with my mum at the hotel to make the drive after I
had been told that Axner always has one in the showroom to try. Perhaps I
was mistaken, however, I was very glad to find one still in the box it was
shipped in, with bats to boot!!!
Happy Valentines day, and Birthday, and probably Christmas =o) Since hubby
insists on adding in the trip cost to the wheel cost.
I have yet to unbox it here. Too much laundry and other sundry things to do
before I head back to work tomorrow (not the least of which was cleaning 2
fish tanks that the neighbour totally overfed with food - yuck).
Just had to share my good news. I have wanted one of these wheels since I
first heard about them so that I could do my living history and pot at an
historical site.
To add another bonus the people at Axner were great to deal with. Thanks
all!!

Sometimes we just need to remember what the rules of life
really are... You need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape.
If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and
shouldn't, use the duct tape.
