If you are represented by a gallery in Toronto or Houston and a customer
from toronto or houston calls about your work recommend the gallery you deal
with in that city. If the customer comes to your studio because they saw
your work at the gallery in Toronto or Houston show some class and send the
gallery a finders fee. We phone the gallery and thank them for the referral
and say a cheque for 20% of retail is on it's way. They then, have no
hesitation to send another our way.
It's what you do, when you don't have to, that helps you be successful.

Hey Tony, have you ever thought of doing a workshop
on "The Business of pottery"?
Bet you'd have a full house.
