Linda, I'd like to encourage you (and any others Clayarters in
the area) to visit an excellent show at the Kirkland Arts Center
gallery. It's the "Gigantic" Ceramic Figurine show, a national
show juried by Patti Warashina, professor emeritus from the
University of Washington. Excellent sculpture show, varied, some
voluptuous, some political, all well-made. Includes an
outstanding piece by Ruth Ashley Lewing, spouse of our
glaze-wizard Paul.
The regular hours of the gallery, at 620 Market Street, in
Kirkland WA, are from 11 to 6, M-F, but if you'd like a personal
tour at your convenience, please give me a call at 360-202-9640.
