I would like to mend the leg of a plate sitter and am not sure what to use.
Would A P Greenpatch- 421 be a good choice? I will be firing to cone 6
electric.

Thanks!

If it is a good clean break and the plate setter works fine if you put
the pieces back together (it doesn't fall over), the solution is simple:
glaze the pieces back together.
Just carefully load it in the kiln, with a plate on it. When you unload
the kiln it will be repaired.

If the break is on a vertical segment, possibly. If on a horizontal
area that would carry a load, I would doubt any effort to
successfully make repair.
