Thanks for sharing this Pet Peeve, Phil. I have a few, myself.
1) It bothers me that people use the word "weary" when they mean "wary".
2) It bothers me that people say "I could care less" when they mean "I
couldn't care less".
3) It bothers me that the apostrophe is being used increasingly
frequently to indicate something plural.
Looks are looks, not look's. CDs are CDs and not CD's. The examples
of apostrophe abuse are many, and infuriating.
I have a few more Pet Peeves, but this is the ClayArt list.

I think they're an okay investment as long as the bank will give you a
good interest rate.
