wheel fire/don't worry

that would be one in five million.
never heard of one before....and i had
a few left on every night at hopkins high.
and, have done it many times here at the studio.
once for three weeks.

it should not ever be a problem. even running on low,
or for that matter left running full speed. it is a motor..they
are meant to run. if it is a good one, it could run non-stop
for thirty years. when i am at the farm in the winter, i turn
on the wheels and let them run for two days straight. get
the rust out of them.

it is like the business of letting your computer run. why not?
good surge protector, i leave mine on all the time.
good fans, keeps it warm and humidity does not get at it.
server computers run forever, and those used by your isp
never get turned off. the clayart computer has been running
non stop for 5 years.
and of course, i hate waiting for the damn thing to boot up
each time.

Dear Friends,
The problem of fire would be reduced if manufacturers included a heat
activated circuit breaker in the design. Venco do this on their
wheels.
