Hi,

Anyone on this list located in Hawaii and would be interested in an
order for a wedding plate? I got a call from someone who received one
of my pieces for Christmas and called me (in Maryland) and asked if I
could do a plate for the wedding (in Hawaii). When I suggested she
locate a potter in Hawaii, she told me that there weren't any. It is a
bit of a complicated order, and I leave in four weeks for a six week
teaching job in Colorado, so I just don't have time.

Email me offlist if you're interested: jon@kirkendallpottery.com

Hi,
I recently went to the San Francisco Gift Mart Winter Show with my mom, and I
saw some wonderful pottery with Hawaiian petroglyph motifs. The rep for the line was Eva Lee,
and Chiu Leong is the main potter. They had two wonderful luster pots that he apparently does as
his art pottery and they other line is for key chains, etc. (She said it was their bread and
butter.) The pottery is called Volcano Clay, and the phone number is 808-967-7637. Hope this helps.
