Hi Janet!
I was afraid you would never speak to me again, since in another post
today I mentioned heating water in a cup in a microwave. You notice, I
never once used tea in the same sentence as...as...you know...that modern
oven thing...the one that whirs...the one that isn't a teapot...oh, never
mind! You have sensitized me, though. :-)
Your e-mail came through to me, right into my ClayArt folder, with no
problems. So maybe the word "virgin" is not the problem, but just to see
I'll put it in quotes. As I wrote earlier today, I didn't think to look for
hidden porn in a post about salt kilns. Shows my lack of imagination. :-)
All the best,
Dave Finkelnburg, glad you had snow, too bad it came after the
first spring flowers instead of before

I would GUESS it was the above banned word in the text, Dave. If
this mail is also blocked, that was the answer! Funny old world
when e-mail with "honourable" and quite "innocent" mention of
certain words will land mail into the censorship box! What about
the Virgin Mary for starters?
Sincerely
Janet Kaiser -- in a "winter wonderland" following the first
serious fall of snow since 1984 or 1985. We cannot agree which
year it was, but it was definitely a long time ago. The World and
his Wife have been out enjoying it... A friend's son has used his
sledge for the third time in his whole life. He was 27 last
month. The daffodils and grape hyacinths look cute sticking out
of their twinkling white crystallised blanket and the seagulls
are pretty pissed off. I am suffering e-mail problems of my
own... Crashing programme. Possibly because I had over 6,000
saved mails in the Clayart folder alone! About 90 infected mails
again today, with hundreds of Mailer-Daemon "return to sender"
mails... Almost up to the 80% spam+worms forecast as the "future"
of emailing... How utterly depressing!

Hi Dave!
I did not catch your "teapot-less tea making" mail, but I had to
delete loads of mail yesterday... My mail client had become too
unstable to take any more! But I think it would take more than a
passing reference to new-fangled gadgetry to stop me talking to
you! :o)
Anyway, you "may" just have received my and any other replies,
because they were in answer to your own mail. COULD be that if we
all were to "compose new mail" or whatever and send that to you,
it would then not pass your spam detector? Another reason for the
original or any other single poster not getting through, is that
their ISP is known to host spammers and your ISP has "banned"
everyone lock, stock and smoking spam barrel...! That is
apparently true of my ISP which is "Freeserve" and now part of
the French company, "Wanadoo". Some ISPs have put
anyone?/everyone? using freeserve on a banned list!! Certainly if
they send to more than one recipient! :o(
As for your "lack of imagination"... Let's just say that the
dreadful spam and positively indecent mail I have been receiving
over the past months and in ever increasing amounts, has
"sensitised" me to such thoughts... I keep smiling at the thought
of olive growers and olive oil producers not being able to
"converse" because their spam washers would delete each others'
mail! Or priests not able to discuss certain bits of dogma with
others... Or even not being able to e-mail Virgin (the company).
Sincerely
Janet Kaiser -- feeling chilly... I think it will be a skating
rink outdoors tonight...
