I just saw a program on public TV called "Kid Concoctions",
you have to check it out if there are young ones around your house.
Very innovative.
They made sidewalk chalks from plaster and food color.
Since old plaster is soft when molded, you could color it with water based
poster paints or the like, mix it thin, (thin plaster sets even softer) and
mold it in
sections of the cardboard tubes in paper towels and toilet paper rolls.
I have plenty of old plaster and my first grandchild is due in June, now
all I need is a sidewalk.
