Our army is manned with snowballs, but as of tonight they will have a weapon
of mass destruction- Me. I'm off to top Toronto chef- Jamie Kennedy's Wine
Bar where we are guests of honour and judges. sixteen of the provinces top
chefs where given an open cassole made by me to make a cassoulet. We have
to sample 16 cassoulets which are really a rich mans beans and weenies.
These ones will have duck, pork, sausage, quail, pheasant, special beans
from France all cooked in copius amounts of fat. Sheila moves it around on
her plate to make it look like she has tasted it.
The host and financier of this gig is Martin Malivoire (special effects
movie producer) who has the best winery on the Niagara Peninsula bar none
and has been a big patron of our pots. We will have our choice of many
vintages of his Rose and Old Vine Foch to wash the grease down with. Wish he
was serving the Pinot Noir which Hank would die for.
If any one sparks up a cigarette behind me tonight or tommorrow there goes
North America.
Pass the Beano please.
Cheers,
Tony
