Lemme tell ya about my first meeting Joyce in Mojave pronounced Moe jave
(sounds like have ) eeeeeeeee... My first NCECA in Charlotte NC and the
main reason I went was I wanted to meet this most delightful voice from clay
art that made me smile almost daily with her incredible posts from the
Mojave... OK so from the sounds of her I am expecting to see this little ole
lady that looked just like tweety birds granny on the bugs bunny show....
so I go sit in clay art room watching for Joyce to come in with excited
anticipation a little scared too... I waited and waited patiently and would have
sat there till they kicked me out as I wanted to meet this woman sooo badly...
Just hanging out yackin with folks and noticed this beautiful woman
that I would have expected to see in an opera house singing the lead aria as
viking woman with the horns on her head..." Blonde bombshell" in other words
not "GRANNY" ... I think I heard someone calling her Joyce but nahhh this
cant be the Joyce in Mojave I am looking for... HOLEY MOLEY it is her !!!!!
I have never met anyone so opposite from what I expected to see and it
cracked me up big time bad to be sucked in like that LOL...
I certainly can see why she was able to keep order in a highschool
situation ... She is a big presence worthy of respect and awe... She is the stuff
HERO's are made of the real deal both online and in the flesh ...
Cat in what I hope is the beginning of Spring in the NC Mnts. ducking
shoes I am sure Joyce is wanting to chuck at my head... ---------------> red
