boy, am i glad to get that last post.
i moved my tick farm seven feet from the pottery.

don't want those little nippers to get full of dust.

i keep an ionic breeze blowing over them all the
time....got it for $2,850.00 from `sharper image`.
the ticks love it.

i plan on meeting with a bunch of peta folks in indianapolis
and we are going to release our ticks on the front steps
of the marriott hotel.

media will be present. i will be the guy with the purple
ski mask.

if any of you find any of my ticks while in indy, please bring
them back to your home state...see if you can
find a pair/release them in your back yard.
feed them your blood if they look hungry or peaked.

man, i am excited about ticks.
tiny, juicy, 8 legged buggers.

don't confuse lady bugs for ticks.
big difference.

Mel,
In order to propagate the "little Nippers" when we bring them home with =
us, we better get a lesson in gender identification. I would suggest =
bringing them to the dance in either tux or dress and heels, but it =
seems to me from the postings I have read that that may not always be an =
indicator!! Sounds like they are already spoiled rotten with the "ionic =
breeze" thing going. And...what are we to do if they start intermixing =
with the ladybugs we have all over the place here in the Indy area? Did =
you think of that one, Mel?

P.S. Wearing a ski mask in downtown Indy on any given evening would be =
like...well...not a welcome sight.

Hi Mel,

You can you know, with a fine Camel Hair brush, render the
otherwise damp, grey, wrinkled or bloated
backs of Ticks, as to assume a compelling likeness of
Ladybugs...!

Or, paint upon them the Flags of various Nations for that
matter...if not little curious emblematic 'symbols' of
various rites, ways of faith, or sundry occult matters
even...

I recommend a good grade Machinery Enamel, over a light
Lacquer prime ( as say the old favorite 'Nicholas Bros' as
was used for Band Insturments), and thence a liesured drying
time in a dust free
environ.

They love it! Their little eyes glisten and their little
legs just go every which way with
the novelty of the
pleasure.

And too, afterward, Children of all ages will simply squeal
with delight to play with them...or to have them crawl about
their persons. to say nothing of the amusements of those
from various ('secret') societies or groups as may see their
esoteric emblems depicted in so charming a way...

As well, with a little dab of Gallery Putty ( or chewing gum
I suppose), one may affix
them just about anywhere, even on one's Lapel, or, as a sort
of 'Beauty Mark' on one's cheek as as an extempore 'Bindi'
or other...or, should
circumstances warrant, one may resort to the use of a little
Seamstress's "Silk Pin" (steralized first in the flame of
one's Zippo, of course) and skewer them as or where one
pleases, to keep them from ambleing inconveniently...or
becoming lost.

Could be quite the ice-breaker for those otherwise lulls in
one's social forays at the 'enceeeekeee' and all...or at
some after hours Bar...having a
few of them on one's Lapel or face other, little 'legs'
flailing
the air and so on...or how some esoteric symbol or Nation's
"Flag" so painted, might just be what someone was looking
for as a convenient respite from other mattrers and a handy
topic for
some conversation...

Just a thought...
