Hello I am trying to use RR-Maiolica glaze with stains and I thought I was
all set only after reading throught the archives I realized this is a very
stiff glaze. I want to do various things with the stains besides paint. I
am confused what to take away or add if I want the stains to blend together
to create a more variegated overall look. I thought taking the zircopax out
would leave me with a clear glaze but I am unsure of how much deflouculant?
which one and amount to add without having it run all over kiln shelves. Or
should I use something else besides a deflouculant to get the glaze to be
more fluid but I want to try to keep it food safe. Could someone help me? I
tried to post before and it didn't appear then I realized I put the actual
recipe in the post and probably should not have.Thanks for any information
on how and how much to change the recipe to get the variegated or blended
