virus issues

updated sun 31 jul 11

I was out of the loop for 4 days,, I had a beeping virus.. I had to give my
computer back to the guy that built it.. It turned out i had gobs of viruses..
I went and bought Mcafee Virus Scann . I couldnt get it to work. It seems i
was using a older AOL and after hours of frustration we downloaded AOL 9.0.. It
had the Explorer i needed . Im now up to date with this junk.. What a
hassle.. Its so sad that the little dirt bags that make these viruses dont use there
talents for good.
SO what im trying to say is get a virus protector,,

Im not going to NCECA this year,, im taking a class with Mckensie Smith at
Arrowmont for a week instead.. Are any of you Clayarters taking the class with
me????

Food for thought!!!!

There are viruses that can and will send emails from users accounts without
them knowing it, even when the email accounts are online and not pulled
through outlook, apple mail, windows mail, etc. More than likely a user has
had their online account hacked or has a virus on their computer that is
sending the emails without their knowledge. So please do not always assume
someone sent it maliciously until you know for sure. It is best to let them
know what happened so they can try to find out if they have been hacked or
if they computer has a bug that is sending the emails without their
knowledge.

Just a thought!!!

That doesn't look suspicious in the context of viruses. :)

(It its the cor=3D
rect URL, of course. Just unusual for web servers to expose the .exe.)
