i make hanging clay scrolls with dimensions of 18"inch wide x 28"inch
long. This is my limit on weight and kiln shelf width. My clay is
Laguana B-mix and I hand throw the slab. i use screen between molds
and plates and glass for flat weight pressure. I prefer a bit of a
concave contour to the slabs for glaze flow and puddle.

Kathy: I viisted your site and the scrolls are very nice indeed. Beautiful
brush work and a clever idea of making what i call a "piece". something for
the livingroom. More money there than in the kitchen.
Cheers,
