Dear Clayarter,
Perhaps most of you are away by now - it certainly sounds wonderful.
I am new to making glazes...just getting started. I have made up several of
the M^6 glazes and am ready for my second firing of them.
Meanwhile my daughter has arrived home with requests for many pots as she is
just setting up her first apartment. At one time in the past I used a cobalt
blue underglaze on the bisque and then a clear glaze at a friend's place and
that is the colour that my daughter loves. It seems to me that is not the
best and most economical way to achieve this result. I tried to sell her on
some of the M^6blue glazes but no go.
Does anyone have a reliable cone 6 glaze to suggest. Many thanks.

Hi Lowell ANN,
Put 2-3% cobalt carbonate in most any glossy base (including the ones
in MC6Gs) and you will have a cobalt blue glossy glaze.
Regards,
John
