NCECA started off well. An officious "little king" security guard =
wouldn't let anyone park at the loading dock to unload their supplies =
for the exhibition hall (so what the hell is a loading dock for then?). =
Fortunately, a passle of my students were there to help carry everything =
into the exhibition hall. =20
Walked into the Marriot lobby, and there at a table were Ron, John, Mel =
and Kurt, four musketeers if every there were. And at the next table =
were Marta, Bacia, Linda Blossom, and a bunch of other people. Lots of =
others are here already - Carla Flati, Joyce Lee, Lori Leary, Kelly =
Savino, Paul Lewing, Don Goodrich, Curtis Nelson, Nancy Hamilton Hughes, =
Dave McBeth, Dave Finkelnburg, Linda Hughes, Liz Willoughby, Gail =
Dapogny, Russel Fouts, Louis Katz, Fabienne Cassman, Billie Mitchell, =
Stephanie Stephenson, Kathleen Gordon, etc. etc. etc. I know I missed =
lots of people. We went out to dinner tonight with a least thirty =
people. Found a brewpub that could actually seat us all! =20
