Hi, Graham. I thought I would give you some feedback on the website. Most looks very nice, and it is always wonderful to see someone with such enthusiasm, that’s way I started in all of this as well!

I think the main area that needs a bit of work is the CV section. It should probably be a bit shorter – you only need relevant facts. Any other info, such as why you got into this, should go on your About section at the top, where you are describing yourself. Here should really be the relevant sections:

Education – short and sweet – i.e. BFA Candidate, Chisholm Institute of
TAFE, Dandenong
Employment
Exhibitions

Awards/Honors

Workshops

Possibly “Gallery Representation” for Galleries
Private Collections – ok to list people who have purchased your work
and Teaching Experiece, if you have taught.

(not all necessarily in this order, I think I have Education, Teaching experience, Employment, Exhibitions, Awards/Honors, Workshops, Private Collections, oh, and lastly, References.)

The most important aspect is to keep in factual, and to the point. I know it sounds boring, but it is important to keep this section professional. Try to use the fun phrases, and the character in your personal descriptions, photos, and especially through your work!! Which, now that I’m just critiquing, I should end on a high note here, and let you know I think the work looks wonderful! You are well on your way!

Hope all this is helpful, and I wish you good luck!

Regards,

Hi Graham
Lovely website. Functioned flawlessly. I loved the trinket box in your
gallery, and am curios to know where the lid is on the leopard teapot!
I lived in Melbourne for a year back in 79/80 and absolutely loved that
year. We went via Hawaii and met a couple who lived there, and they were
incredible tour guides. And that was my introduction to Australian wines -
so many really good ones!

Anyway congratulations on your web site - Wooky

Hello Graham
The first look says Wow
The question is why do I have to see your gallery though the half closed
shutter?
I think you have to move the links to the side to allow the viewer to
see what you have to show
