one thing for sure.
i have to carefully look through my t-bowls
during the year. find one that is really nice.
set it aside.
can't put an average pot in that show.

i am serious. i am very proud to be in the
clayart mug show. it is a very good show.

the quality of our baby show is increasing a
great deal. gentle competition. the best kind.
not pushy, but sort of....`hey, i better find something
really good, can't slide an average pot in there.

i compare our show with the conebox show. small
things, not flashy. solid pots. makes one proud
to be in a show like that.

it is called. `permsission to be good`.
new potters, old potters, famous and hidden.
but, all solid pots, made with passion.

same for the mug sale. when a friend gets in
line at 4 a.m. to get my pot....and, is the fourth person
in the door. `that is humbling.`.

and to have helen bates smile at me, holding my t-bowl
over her head....in that mob, and and, and that damn helen can
kiss....wow. dripping with primalwine.
phew, and i thought she was just scanning the web
as an academic.

and the line of the week. `that g damn helen bates, she
can send stuff that causes me to waste a hundred
hours a week. but, man, i love it`.

And what a t-bowl it is. worth the early wait.
almost got up earlier.....:>0zzzzzzzzz
Got the book and the signature too.
Also picked up a clenell..Wife has already
claimed it. Felt like a kid in a candy store
for 4 days. I have found a new family.
Felt like i never left home. You guys are
wonderful. Thank you. If you have never been
to nceca and are worried about fitting in, you are
wasting a lot of time worrying about it. Just go and
be who you are. That's all that is needed. The rest
just happens. Thanks for the wine Kelly. You should
go into business with it. Primal wine inc.
To everyone, and believe me there are sooo many to
mention ...Wayne,Billie, Pam,Gregg,Lisa,Gail.....Mel.
Thank you for making my first nceca ,,

THE BEST

Hello all!

I've finally figured out the new procedures/secret knock and all without
the diatom fillibrator that one may have to uses for unsubscribe, which
thankfully, I was not requested to do! Really, never had a problem
with "set no mail" before, but then there is a slight possiblity, slight,
that the problem was, could it possibly have been moi?!

Anyway, All the fun reads on NCECA! This is technically delayed, due to my
unidentified problems with setmail, but it was truely a cosmic bonding
learning ('cept I already knew how to crochet) experience.

Regarding the mug sale/mug exchange: Well you couldn't have found a
happier, beaming person at the time, well maybe Brian & Billie and Lady
#3. I told John H. the day prior, passing in the hall, I'm gonna get your
mug! Lo and behold, by the grace of Billie, dragging me out the door, not
only did I get John's BUT Ron's, too! To go with the Mastering Book from
the signing! Believe it when you hear, if there is a mug from the sale
that you are eyeing, you better get your tail at the door before the sun
hits the eastern horizion, no matter how late you chummied the night
before!! Glee! I also picked up Mitch Kotulka's, enjoyed talking with
you one of thoes blurrs of an 'eve. Anyway, so very nice meeting
everyone......Mel's buldging pocket and all!

Peace,
Pamela
