Don't be intimidated. This year I went down to
breakfast in the hotel ..... first morning..... planned
to eat alone, which never bothers me ..... gives
me time to observe and to think. Jim Bowen showed
up..... gladly had him join me. We had a
delightful breakfast.
Last day ..... went down to breakfast in the hotel...
alone....... fine...... no problem....... ran into my
Very Very Good Bud, Lori Leary who is a People
Magnet...... joined her small group..... while
waiting for a table, we soon expanded to .... I
think the final number was twelve. Jim Bowen
on my left; Primal on my right, Jon at the other
end .... and wonderful others in between. Mel
stopped by as we waited so also had a chance
to say goodbye. Caught cab for airport immediately afterward. What a =
lovely way to end NCECA.
Enough reporting...... I could go on&on....each
post reminds me of yet another vignette that
lingers happily in my mind......

In the Mojave ........ thinking too that Wayne
is a great addition to Clayart .... it was fun seeing
him have such a happy time ...... want, too, to
publicly thank Lisa, Merrie and Lori for covering
the Clayart Room so I could visit Cone Box Show,
vendors hall, Potters for Peace, and be driven
by Ellen Marks along with Barbara Brown the Lovely
to various galleries. I loved "working" the Clayart
Room for more extended times than in the past......
really had a chance to chat with so many of you.......
but..... as Mel advised me...... it's good to get
away here&there, also. That's it..... sigh...... for
another year........
