Jim,
A common name for calcium borate is Garstley Borate. However, Gerstley=20
Borate has some availability and analysis reliability issues. You might=20
steer toward one of the Ferro, Fusion, or CTM frits, or perhaps CadyCal10=
0. =20
In any event, you will need to balance your glaze to unity after selectin=
g a=20
frit. I hope this helps.

Yo Jim Bobby!
Ferro frit 3134 is a general purpose alkaline earth boro-silicate frit
that contains a high amount of calcium and boron. When I interned at
Trinity it was in stock. Give John Williams a call, he can always
point you in the right direction.
Scooter says also try Ferro frit 3195.
Scooter also says check out www.digitalfire.ab.ca/cermat/index.php
It's a glossary of everything!

Hi Jim,
There are many calcium borate frits - unless you can find out which one you
will have to guess and test.
