Since this group doesn't run NCECA, only attends it, maybe you should
send a comment to NCECA staff via the nceca.net web site. But I'm sure
they've heard PLENTY about Adalaide!
DId anyone attend Day 2 of her demo? Did she ever do any clay work?
Jennifer, traumatized by the lousy crocheting on Day 1

I went in for a few minutes to rest my feet on day 2. She was still
crocheting. I had heard complaints about her in the elevator, so I had to
go see what the fuss was about. Did they PAY her for sitting up there with
yarn? She was about as exciting as watching paint dry, but at least she WAS
willing to let you see what she was doing and talk about it. (The other
lady to her right had some of her brushes snatched, btw.)
I went to another potters' conference a few years ago where several people
from Alfred were supposed to be demonstrating all at once (NOT a good idea,
IMO). There was a camera at each work station. One of the "presenters"
would not talk much at all (even when it was her turn), and she deliberately
looked to see where the camera was and moved her body to block the shot from
what she was working on. I've not been back to that conference, and don't
plan to go back, unless they have someone I'd just die to see.
