Anybody know the correct name for the faceting tool which some of us purchased at a booth which sold tools made of bamboo? Its just a little "U" shaped piece of bamboo with a wire stretched taut across the opening of the "U". I have always used my wire to facet pots.....but this tool works great, even on the porcelain (Star Bright) that Great Lakes Clay was giving away as samples. You can facet with one hand. Its the little things that make me smile. Toni Smith in Ohio, still overflowing with the good NCECA vibes and hugs.

Dear Toni Smith,
It could be given one of several names:
Harp: Cheese Cutter are two that come quickly to mind.
Best regards,
Ivor Lewis. Redhill, South Australia

In the West, I've heard this called a Harp tool. Here in Japan it
is a Yumi, Japanese for bow.
