At Mel's book signing yesterday, for family and friends, he was presented
with an honorary Doctorate by an eminent PhD, chemical engineer, retired
professor. For years Mel had been telling the eminent PhD that since he
had so many honorary degrees he should give one to Mel. It happened
yesterday. Now we can call him Doctor Mel, the Doctor, the Mayor, Mel or
whatever suits your fancy.
