plastic mold keys

Hi all,

I am trying to locate a supplier for plastic mold keys. The ones I have
(few left) are each about a half golf ball or so in size, a pair is an
innie and an outie with a skirt that embeds it real well in the plaster.

Using these has made mold-making such a breeze, and using the molds much
more pleasant. They don't break off. They don't wear down. And I am
running out of the bag of 100 pairs I got so long ago. I've been cutting
them in half so they don't take so much space on the mold, so they've
lasted a long time.

I recollect getting them from Bailey's but the don't carry them presently
and the guy I spoke to had never heard of such an item. Looked in Axner's
and didn't find it either. Can't find any trace of an invoice.

Anybody have a source for these? It will be a drag to start having to
carve keys once again.

Eleanora,

I believe they are called 'natches' by the industry. Double-A-Plastics
Co., Inc is who we have on file as a supplier here at CGD. Phone
number is 413-267-4403.

good luck!

Hi Annie,

Can't believe I got not one but two suppliers! Bill Campbell gave me a
holler and I ordered some already from his supplier. They are different
than the ones I have. His supplier is Able Co, 281-265-9894. I will call
yours tomorrow and see if I can get a small amount so I can see which I
like best.

Hi to Jonathan. Thanks for replying.
