Two questions:
1. I have several grandchildren and would like to make up some modeling
clay. Anyone know what is used? And can one fire the clay??
2. Has anyone tried the Amaco Pompeian Ash Glazes. The last couple of clay
magazines I've received have some nice looking pictures?

Tom,
Natural Science Industries makes a gear drive toy potter's wheel that has
modeling clay in it and it can also be fired. I have used the toy wheel at
demonstrations from time to time and it really works although it turns about
40 rpm so it takes a while to make things and a very light touch.
