Well Wes I'm pleased to report that i won The Peter the Potter Award best
functional at the Hamilton Potters Juried Show with a teapot and handmade
cane handle. The juror Bill Rowland picked up the teapot and said "Now, this
is a teapot!" and then went on to say I'm not sure about this handle though.
So you see, you did a fine crit job and i will continue on my merry way of
making the handle my signature. Glad you pointed the handle marriage out.
I'm going to celebrate it even more now.
I collect my $100 tonight and will toast you. Funny thing is the teapot i
have been saving (my racer) got nixed and the one i picked up from our
showroom last minute (for me a so-what) brought home the bacon.
Acceptance/rejection is all a dice throw.
