Hi everyone,
I have a question about mixing clay. We mix our own clay at the local community college. I was wondering what I add to my clay to make the body darker during oxidation? I was hoping to be able to come up with a darker clay body without buying it already prepared.

Wedge in an oxide, or apply a dark slip.
Depends on your work, which is better.
