Just wanted to let everyone know that Howard Axner has been in touch
with me and has offered to replace our one-piece splash pans with
newer two-piece pans made of thicker materials, just for the cost of
shipping.
Attention to customers will keep them coming back for more.
Also wanted to let y'all know we got a new J18X-3 L&L programmable
kiln at school. Was able to secure a grant for this purchase. This is
3" brick kiln that we'll use for crystalline glaze firings.
Have 4 older L&L's, but this new one is really a step up in quality -
I am very impressed with what was included: A full 3-ring binder of
instructions (including set-up instructions, descriptions of all
consumer kilns they make, list of all parts, and more) that now means
I don't have to search around my files for stuff regarding the kiln,
gloves & safety glasses, new stand already cut out for vent, new
element connectors and just all around higher quality materials.
This is a step into the 20th century for me - the first kiln with a
programmable controller.
