Kelly,
Your post brought tears to my eyes, made me
think of when I was raising my sons, now 36 and 38.
We had the small farm, and tried to live off the land as much as possible,
showing them a love of nature and husbandry.
We were "rich" with 10 full acres, woods mostly. My oldest son
has built his home on part of it, my youngest is just 2 miles from it. They
have roots and appreciate it. It pleases me greatly.
I didn't home school, but sure wish I had. My first grandchild
is on the way maybe I still have a chance at it.
Your post made me remember how wonderful it was,
I plan to give them a copy of it to remind
them of things that used to be.
