Thanks for putting in a plug for Murray McMurray, I've used them for =
years and raised the New Mexico Grand Champion Pens two years in a row =
from their stock. Be aware that not all chickens hve the same =
dispositions... many European and Mediterranean breeds are very skittish =
(Prozac-flavored scratch, anyone?) and can seriously fly, the =
long-legged fighting breeds are MEAN. Rock Cornish do not do well at =
high altitudes. I prefer and recommend Brahmas and Cochins, they lay, =
set, mature late as to not outgrow their lungs and legs, and best of =
