Hello: Hank, Paul, and Chris: Thanks for the slip recipe. 80-20 seems to
be the general idea. Easy! I like easy.
Hank, maybe for a clay body I'll start with your recipe and use Custer
(went to school in the Black Hills) instead of G 200 and Hawthorne bond
(I got a couple hundred lbs. on hand) in place of the Jordan. What do
you think!
Paul are you going to post any pictures of #9? Any blue shino?
Chris, thanks if I get some goods, I'll keep you posted.
With all the deep esoteric energy flying around on the list it seems a
little strange to ask "What should I do with this bag of dirt that a
friend gave me." ;o)
Thanks again,

Dear Craig;

You might consider leaving some body uncovered for the contrast.

Nothing IMHO replaces Jordan, but the next Jordan is just waiting for
some potter to find it and make it available. As for G-200, it is more
melty (a good thing) than Custer, so it has my allegiance.

The thing is, most of that energy would direct you to do a Currie Grid
Tile to find out what it does & how it reacts with other
materials........and post your results to the List!

Cheers, Hank
