Surfing with Helen Bates - Western USA - April 19th., 2004

James Singer Com (Tiburon, CA, USA)

Contemporary Japanese Ceramics Dealer (died March 2004)
(A selection of modern Japanese ceramics, amongst other objets d'art)
(The site is apparently going offline on April 20th., 2004) (Tomorrow)
(Unless there is a change made by the administrator of his estate, to
whom I have sent an e-mail just now.)

An earlier posting by J.S. is archived here:
http://web.archive.org/web/20030322004752/http://www.jamessinger.com/
(Some of the thumbnails link to the wrong pots, in this archive, and it
may be something that Mr. Singer later corrected... he also may have
removed some pots from the later version you see above.)

Heino, Otto and Vivika (City of Ventura Municipal Art Collection)

Nate Evans and Hallie Hite (New Albin, IA, USA)

Jack Hattaway (photos from NCECA San Diego ceramics Student Exhibition?)

part of a blog site - also has his own low-fire pieces on the site...
and figural work in clay - quite nice female figure I saw there...

W. Keith and Janet Kellogg University Art Gallery, California State
Polytechnic University, (Pomona, CA, USA)

(Ink and Clay 29, 28 and 27 Exhibitions with work online. Number 29 has
a Quicktime video display that allows the viewer to click on individual
works of art to zoom to a page with a large image and explicatory text
about the piece. Alternatively, one can view the works in a slide show.
Finally, there is a clickable artists list.
The clay work on view is mainly sculptural and often pictorial as well.
There are a few vessel makers included whose work is more form-oriented,
and one maker, Jan Schacter, whose pieces are functional as tableware or
dinnerware.
