You are thinking of Tri-Sodium-Phosphate...


Gives your fingers that nice 'nutty-MSG' kinda flavor I
think...but not so nicely as...oh hell what was it as one
uses for fixing Black-and-White prints? - uh...anyway...had
that sort of 'nutty' flavor as would stay on your hands for
days...Sodium-Hypo-Sulphate I think...been awhile, sorry...


But "T.S.P." for short, for the Wall washing and so on...I
used to use it as a Painter as a pre-prep to degrease walls
in homes, you know, like where people had cooked lots of
'Mutton' and so on...had to, or the Paint would not stick...
