I have a friend who wants to have an urn made for his dog's ashes and wants to use some of the ashes to glaze the piece. Does anyone have a quick receipe for such a thing? I remember an article in Clay Times a while back about someone who made a black dog coffee mug, but I fergot who it was. I also only have limited access to the Internet, so I can't surf. I imagine you handle bone ash differently than you do wood ash (I spray wood ash from my wood stove directly on the pot and it fluxes out nicely). Folks can email me offline. Thanks in advance, katheleen nez i suppose it could also be cone 6 - i also aint worried about mad cloud disease...
PS To Gregg Lindsay, big thanks for the Clayart tshirt from Indy (the one from San Diego was getting hole-y).
To all the people who noticed my absence from this year's NCECA conference, thanks so much for yer emails offline.
