Hi everyone,
After living in China for one year, I will be returning to the States in
July. I plan to move to Greenville, SC so I am looking for studio space
and any info on places to fire with gas and/or wood. I will be new to the
area so any help with finding a place to work and fire will be greatly
appreciated.

Another possibility for me could be apprenticing if anyone is looking.

Thanks for your help,
Darin

Hi Darin,
I live in Greenville County. I have just gotten back into clay, after a =
year long post graduation break. Just bought a wheel last week and have =
set up a small studio. I live 30-45 min. north of Gville, in Cleveland, =
so this may be farther than you want to drive. There is a lady who has =
an electric kiln and a gas kiln about 15 min. away from where I live, =
and she is going to let me fire stuff in it for a small fee. I have =
only talked to her on the phone so far so when I find out more I can let =
you know. I am not sure if she does high fire, she just mentioned using =
the gas kiln to raku. She has raku parties, and invites people from the =
community to watch. I am really wanting to keep firing ^ 10 though, so =
I am hoping to work something out. =20

I don't know of any places in Gville that have studio spaces but if I =
here of any I'll let you know.

Leticia
